Signing up for an online account is easy and free and will allow you to
You can sign up using your email address or sign in with your Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or LinkedIn account.
Signing up for an online account is completely optional. Even without an account you will still be able to make online donations and receive a receipt via email, or subscribe to our newsletter.
A recurring donation is a great way to make your gift a monthly repeating donation. You set it up once when making a donation online by choosing the Monthly option.
Thereafter, every month your selected payment method will be automatically charged for the chosen amount. You will receive a receipt via email every time your payment method is charged.
You can cancel your recurring donation subscription anytime by going to your account page on our website.
When making an online donation, you may optionally choose to have your name listed on our Donor Wall, or stay completely anonymous. Our Donor Wall is a great way of letting others know that you care.
You will find our Donor Wall by going to “ABOUT US”, then “Our Friends“, or below the donation form.
If you’ve made multiple donations then all donations where you chose to have your name shown on our Donor Wall will be combined. This will ensure your name is placed appropriately.
If you choose to make a gift in honor or memory of someone and choose to have your name shown on our Donor Wall, then the honoree’s name will be shown instead. The next to a name on our Donor Wall indicates a tribute was made in honor or memory of that person.
If you’ve made a donation to Teachers on Wheels, first of all thank you for your generosity! Every dollar makes a difference and no amount is too small.
If you see your name on our Donor Wall even though you elected to stay anonymous, please keep in mind that there may be another person with the same name who may have made a donation. If you believe that this is unlikely in your case, please contact us and we’ll investigate.
If during the donation process you elected to have your name shown on our Donor Wall, but later change your mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to correct it for you.
Gifts in honor or memory of someone can be made using our online donation form. This is a great way of recognizing someone else for the positive impact they had on your life or on the community.
When donating online, click on “Give in honor or memory of someone” and you can then specify the honoree’s first and last name. Your gift will then be made in their name. You also have the option to send an eCard with a personalized message to either the honoree or a person of your choosing.
If donating by check, please include a note with the honoree’s name and optionally the address for sending the acknowledgement.
